GTFF sits in at Johnson hall for fair contract
Last week GTFF, along with allies, sat in at Johnson Hall to put pressure on the administration. Faculty and undergrads showed their support throughout, with it ramping up Thursday during student solidarity day. Friday you saw classified staff show support when SEIU had their bargaining rally in front of Johnson Hall. SEIU Executive Director Melissa Unger reminded people at the rally of when she slept on the steps of Johnson Hall 19 years ago as part of the student protests against Nike’s use of sweatshop labor.
