Management makes little movement with SEIU 503
Classified workers bargained with the state’s management team into the night Monday. Management made little movement in their offer; they just bumped COLA 0.25% for the next year. SEIU acknowledged that management was not ready to make a good offer, so they called off Tuesday’s bargaining session. Both sides are scheduled to meet again this weekend, if they can not reach a deal they will go on strike Monday.
