Gov. Brown put back into place a statewide indoor mask requirement once again last week as the state sees record hospitalizations for COVID. Brown says she had to make this decision after counties refused to take action. Institutions are putting in place vaccine requirements, but some are also implementing vaccine incentives. Lane Community College is running a $150K lottery where three hundred students can win $500 when they upload their proof of vaccination. The University of Oregon is giving out $50 in Duck Bucks each week until Sep. 13.
