City of Eugene workers held and informational picket on Tuesday before their 12 hour long mediation session the next day. City management has backed off its furlough, that would erode union protections and make cuts across the board. However the city is still not offering wages that meet the cost of living. The union says that if the City does not provide a fair offer they could have conversations about striking.
