Pac-12 football players threaten walkout if demands aren’t met for fall season

Hundreds of Pac-12 football players came together under the banner of “#WeAreUnited”, a set of demands directed at the conference. The demands center around four areas: COVID-19 protections, reinstating other sports, racial justice, and economic equity.
Among some of the bolder demands is a call for distributing half of each sport’s revenue to the players in that sport.
The Oregonian lists 26 University of Oregon players that shared the #WeAreUnited message. Oregon safety Jevon Holland was one of the co-signers on the original press release. Holland also lead the charge on the denaming of Deady Hall.
On Monday the Associated Students of the University of Oregon echoed support behind the demands.
