Local workers at the Pentgon Federal Credit Union Call Center in Eugene have been told that they will be losing their jobs. PenFed is laying off 120 employees at its Eugene location. Worse still, it isn't in any financial difficulty, so there's no business need for it.

It sounds like PenFed has lost its way as a credit union and wants to act like a big bank. But we are hopeful that there's still time for them to do the right thing and reverse this decision before it negatively affects the workers, their families, and our community.

Join us this Thursday a solidarity picket in support of the 120 employees who will lose their jobs. We will gather across the street from the the Pen Fed offices at 11:15 am.
