CLDC lawyers will discuss how police misconduct and racial profiling affects oppressed communities and individuals, and how it has done so historically. They will also cover the basics of a federal civil rights lawsuit, the mechanisms available in the alternative to litigation, and the shortcomings of the legal system for addressing systemic racism and oppression.
