HAND: The Green Guerillas screening & discussion

    November 5, 2022

Eugene Housing & Neighborhood Defense (HAND) is hosting a screening of the film, “The Green Guerrillas,” on November 5th, 2:00-4:00 PM, located in Chiles Hall Room 128 on the University of Oregon campus.

“The Green Guerrillas” is a 30 minute documentary film which first appeared on German television in 1995. It documents the New People’s Army (Communist Party of the Philippines) in their campaign to protect the environment and indigenous culture. Before the film we will provide relevant helpful background information about the people and events in the film, after watching we will have a group discussion about the film, and how we can show support and solidarity with people across the world who are currently fighting back against their exploitation by capitalism and imperialism.

Please feel free to share this event with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers! 🤝❤️‍🔥
