UO: Thermal heating study community forum

    May 1, 2023

Co-hosted by the Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO), the Thermal Systems Task Force, the Office of Finance & Administration, and the Office of Sustainability.

No registration required. Food and beverages provided.

The UO campus community is encouraged to participate. UO representatives will share the goals of the study and the options for transforming the university’s heating system in Eugene to achieve sustainability goals. The forums provide an opportunity for the campus community to ask questions, discuss concerns, and provide feedback.
Provide Feedback to the Task Force

Information, input, and feedback collected from the campus community will be provided to the Task Force to be considered as they reach their final determination and recommend a course of action to the president.

Students, faculty, and all employees are invited to learn more about the Thermal Heating Study and share feedback at an upcoming forum.

Abundance: challenging narratives of scarcity around environmental crises through shared joy, resources, and community

    May 2, 2023 May 4, 2023

Thank you for joining the UO Student Sustainability Center, the Coalition Against Environmental Racism, and our other co-sponsors for Abundance: challenging narratives of scarcity around environmental crises through shared joy, resources, and community. This series of events, happening across multiple days, will feature educational talks, workshops, and volunteer opportunities for students and other UO community members to engage with the idea of abundance. The climate crises and other intersecting issues, such as environmental racism, can make us feel disconnected and hopeless. We believe that one of the most corrective actions we can take in this work is to challenge that narrative. We are all that we need, and we have everything we need! Join us as we explore the abundance of our very own community, and beyond!
