The first in a string of 20 jury trials of anti-war protestors for the action of stopping traffic on I-5 on the April 15th Coordinated Economic Blockade to Free Palestine will occur on Thursday, October 3rd at 11:30am at the Lane County Courthouse. Supporters plan to pack the court to support the defendant and assert that no one should be punished for protesting a genocide. Defendants and their supporters are calling for Eugene District Attorney, Chris Parosa, to drop the charges for all defendants without admission of guilt. Between October and January 2025, there will be at least one jury trial per week. Last week, Eugene residents launched a city-wide "Drop the Charges" campaign.

GTFF, along with the other members of the Campus Labor Council, condemn the repression of free speech on UO’s campus. UO works because we do, and as employees at UO we deserve a workplace in which free speech is not targeted. Join us at 3pm on Thursday to show the UO admin that we will not tolerate this behavior on our campus

🇵🇸 EUGENE, OR: One Year of Genocide, One Year of Resistance Rally Saturday 10/5 @ 2pm
The Party for Socialism and Liberation, Extinction Rebellion, Planet vs. Pentagon, the Pacific Green Party and the Springfield-Eugene Anti-Imperialist Coalition are hosting a rally on October 5th at 2pm at the Old Federal Courthouse Building on 7th and Pearl in coordination with the call for an International Day of Action from the Palestinian Youth Movement!

This October marks one year of genocide and one year of resistance both in occupied Palestine and globally. The Palestinian people have shown the world that they will continue to resist continued displacement, dispossession and colonization. The struggle continues! On October 5, we will make clear the movement is going nowhere until full liberation. We will not stop, we will not rest, until every inch of Palestine is free from the river to the sea!
